Thumbs up! "The mate base is super smooth, very slightly herbaceous with a bit of roasted flavor that matches up pleasantly with the cocoa flavor. All of this is rounded off with the delicious and tangible taste of creamy vanilla. "

This is a finely cut yerba mate blend with cocoa husks and a rich creamy chocolate fragrance. I used a teaspoon of leaf to 8 ounces of water brought to a boil and steeped for 5 minutes.

Mmmm. For such a simple preparation, this has a delightfully sweet and decadently chocolate-y goodness that is easy to enjoy. The mate base is super smooth, very slightly herbaceous with a bit of roasted flavor that matches up pleasantly with the cocoa flavor. All of this is rounded off with the delicious and tangible taste of creamy vanilla.

The second infusion is really not worth a try. It's the first infusion that counts.

The creamy vanilla chocolate flavor is abundant. It's really natural tasting. The mate base provides a wonderful close that is an interesting but totally workable herbaceous contrast to the sweet and smooth vanilla and chocolate. Perhaps the most enjoyable thing about this blend is how it satisfies a chocolate lover's sweet tooth. That's the sweet truth.
